Canadian temporary residents in Canada with valid status such as a valid study or work permit now can apply for a new temporary resident visa before they leave, at Immigration Canada's Case Processing Pilot office in Ottawa (CPP-O), an extension of Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)'s oversea network. To apply for new temporary resident visa to Canada, applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Applicants are advised to pay the fees a few days before mailing the application, as financial institutions and credit card companies may require up to five business days before they validate the payment.
