Lower-Skilled Occupations Visa Canada

The Lower-skilled Occupations visa is an ideal option for workers seeking to work temporarily in occupations that usually require at most a high school diploma or a maximum of 2 years of job-specific training. This exciting and versatile program seeks to fill immediate labour shortages where there is demonstrable shortage of Canadians available for occupations requiring lower levels of formal training.

Once granted, the Lower-skilled Occupations Visa allows the temporary entry of foreign workers into Canada to work in lower-skilled occupations deemed in demand for the duration specified on the work permit, gain Canadian work experience and obtain a renewal for a stay of up to 2 years in Canada.

Employers seeking to sponsor or hire foreign workers can sign up for Canadian Corporate Immigration Services.
